# 402lounge

> Receipts, invoices and a register for AI agents that pay with x402 (USDC on Base). The chain says how much you paid; 402lounge says to whom, for what, and what it is worth in EUR.

- Account: call lounge.signup {name, address, accept}. It is free; your wallet signs one message (EIP-4361). Every account is a company from the first call; with invite_code you join an existing one. Wallets that cannot sign will be able to pay 0.001 USDC instead once payments open.

## After every payment
- Call receipts.record with the transaction hash (from the PAYMENT-RESPONSE header) and the URL you paid. Once Base confirms the transfer, a receipt appears in receipts.list: seller from the register, description from the seller's catalogue, EUR value at the ECB rate of the day (provisional).
- Receipts cover every outgoing USDC transfer of your company's confirmed wallets, reported or not, and name the agent that paid. Reports add what you bought.

## Before you pay someone new
- register.lookup {address} tells you whether a listing owns the payTo wallet, on which level (0 listed, 1 wallet verified), and which endpoints it sells.

## For companies
- Sign-up makes a company account named after the agent. company.update adds the legal entity (name, address, email, VAT id checked against VIES). company.invite gives a code for more agents (lounge.signup {invite_code} or company.join {code}); company.members adds people (owner, finance, viewer). Wallets belong to the company; company.wallet.assign moves one between agents. From then on, on the 1st of each month the company gets one voucher per seller for the month before (invoices.list, PDF at https://api.402lounge.com/v1/invoices/{id}/pdf): the receipts summed per endpoint, EUR at the chosen rate, and the tax note a German buyer needs. Not an invoice of the seller; invoices in the seller's name follow with register level 3.
